One of the more popular beaches in Port Macquarie with good surf and spectacular rock features, Flynns Beach is patrolled during the summer season. A great place for a picnic, there's plenty of grass, shade trees, BBQs and a kiosk.
The access road to the beach from Pacific Drive is called Tuppenny Road. It was paid for and named in 1945 by the tuppences which were collected at the Royal Hotel in change from the purchase of a packet of cigarettes costing tenpence.
